Knicks Trying to Land Kyle Kuzma in Trade Centered Around Marcus Morris

Knicks Trying to Land Kyle Kuzma in Trade Centered Around Marcus Morris”

The New York Knicks seem to be quite interested in Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Washington Wizards are involved in the deal as well and will send point guard Isaiah Thomas to the Clippers.

According to Shams Charania of the Athletic, the Clippers won the battle as they acquired Morris in exchange for Moe Harkless and what is assumed to be some draft picks.

In fact, a recent report indicates that the Knicks are seeking to acquire Kuzma in a pre-deadline trade that would be centered around Marcus Morris.

Morris has averaged 19.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season. He was shooting 41.3% from deep in 40 games for the Wizards, the most contests he's played in during a campaign since 2016-17. The Clippers sit in second place in the West at 36-15, three games behind the Los Angeles Lakers as both teams have their sights set on winning an National Basketball Association championship. It's not that the Clippers might lose Kawhi Leonard or Paul George this summer. It's that the gap between them and the Los Angeles Lakers is negligible. But his toughness and shooting will be a welcome addition down the stretch and in the playoffs. Mann appeared in 30 games, averaging 8.1 minutes and 1.8 points.
