Audience level for the Oscar Awards reaches its lowest point

Audience level for the Oscar Awards reaches its lowest point”

South Korean movie supremo Bong Joon-ho, who scooped the Best Director Oscar for his film "Parasite", revealed his freaky side even further by naming Kevin De Bruyne as one of his dream dinner party guests.

After winning four Oscars - Best Picture and Best Foreign Language Film for the film, and Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin-won - "Parasite" tied Walt Disney's record for the most Oscars won in one night.

"There are so many other famous films from other countries, maybe from Europe or elsewhere". Additionally, it was the first time a South Korean film won in the other three categories.

He had good reason to because in a thrilling and raucously applauded upset, the revolutionary win for "Parasite" ended a more than nine-decade English-language monopoly on cinema's top prize.

The 92nd Academy Awards on ABC registered the lowest ratings in the show's history, drawing 23.6 million viewers for a 5.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic, according to initial Nielsen figures. In a viral moment from his Best Actor acceptance speech for Joker, Joaquin Phoenix rallied viewers to "fight against injustice". The show featured an opening musical number from Janelle Monáe, a surprise performance from Eminem and a monologue featuring Steve Martin and Chris Rock. Around 520,000 tweets about Bong were posted that day.

Mr. Phoenix, who won the Best Actor award for "Joker", gave a rambling acceptance speech in support of veganism that included a blast at cow insemination. It generated more than 190,000 retweets and 475,000 likes.
