Taylor Swift makes a surprise appearance at the NME 2020 Awards”

The 25-year-old musician turned from hero to zero at the ceremony in London on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 after shocking fans by crudely propositioning Ryan, before he was thrown out of the bash after throwing a drink at a fan from the stage and launching himself at the man.

The news comes on the back of Slowthai's controversial appearance at last night's NME Awards where both his inappropriate remarks made to host Katherine Ryan and his altercation with an audience member attracted widespread criticism. "Much fans' pleasure, she attended the series for a nominee for" Best Solo Act on the planet", however, the surprises did not end there. You can watch the sweet moment, here. But Taylor wanted to step outside her comfort zone that night, which she let the crowd know during her acceptance speech!

"Slowthai, born Tyron Kaymone Frampton, apologized via Twitter after the incident, writing: "@nme please forward my award to @kathbum for she is the hero of the year. what started as a joke between us escalated to a point of shameful actions on my part. i want to unreservedly apologise, there is no excuse and I am sorry. i am not a hero". Are you guys having fun tonight? The UK is especially of prime importance for the singer as her boyfriend and actor Joe Alwyn resides there and was Taylor's plus one at the award ceremony.

Technically, Taylor revealed confront at the NME Awards earlier - via a video display, that's. Swift was honoured with the Best Solo Act award, as she beat Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Beck, Charli XCX, FKA twigs, Lana Del Rey and Yungblud. Of course, this was all based on rumors, since Taylor and Joe did their best to keep the romance out of the public's eye.
