Apple's ’AirPods Pro-Lite’ Development in the Works Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Apple's ’AirPods Pro-Lite’ Development in the Works Amid Coronavirus Outbreak”

Apple is said to be developing a new product, "AirPods Pro Lite" headphone. However, not everyone is willing to shell out $249 for a pair of earbuds no matter how good they are. Among other new products slated for a 2020 release, "AirPods Pro Lite" are listed, suggesting the products could be on the way this year.

Apple's AirPod Pro headphones were launched previous year, the headphones cost around $100 more than the standard AirPod headphones, according to a recent report there are some new AirPod Pro Lite headphones in the works.

Apple is claimed to be working with provide chain companions in Taiwan on a number of upcoming merchandise, together with a so-referred to as "AirPod Pro Lite", in response to DigiTimes. Since the launch of AirPods Pro, the Cupertino-based tech giant is struggling a lot in order to meet the demand for its wireless earbuds. Case in point- a guy tweeted that he had lost his AirPods Pro right earbud, which is nothing new.

Sigmon uploaded additional pictures of the three AirPods Pro, along with the case.

It's interesting to note that the product was spelled as AirPod Pro Lite and not AirPods in the report.

Could Apple really bring out a cheaper AirPods Pro?

Apple launched the AirPods on September 7, 2016, alongside the iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2.

Even if Apple were to launch an AirPod Pro Lite as suggested by the report, we are not sure where or how the Lite version of the AirPods Pro will fit into the AirPods lineup, considering that there is just a $50 gap between the Pro and the standard AirPods.

The revelation came as reports from Taiwanese publication, Digitmes reporting Apple wanting to move production of some of its products to assembly lines in Taiwan out of fear of the deadly Coronavirus that is now affecting China and some parts of the globe.
