Listen to Billie Eilish's James Bond theme song, 'No Time to Die'

Billie Eilish has unveiled her official theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie No Time To Die.

According to a post on her Instagram account, "No Time To Die" arrives tomorrow (February 13) at 4 PM PT. Said Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, the producers of No Time To Die.

"It feels insane to be a part of this in every way".

Throughout the history of the James Bond franchise, the most popular and interesting music artists of the time have often been recruited to pen and/or perform each film's main song.

About a minute into the number, a synthesizer pipes in with a haunting snippet of John Barry's classic Bond theme, written for Dr. No.

During the chorus she sings: 'That I'd fallen for a lie.

Are you excited to hear Billie Eilish and FINNEAS' new James Bond theme song? To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor.

It's due in cinemas in April 8.

Added Finneas, "Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we've been dreaming about doing our entire lives".

For reference though, Eilish was five-years-old when the Daniel Craig's first Bond film came out in 2006, so while the singer may fit the tone, don't be expecting a clear through line from the singles released previous by Sam Smith and Adele.

During his same interview Rami Malek did tease that "there is a resurgence of an Ian Fleming influence on this film", meaning that No Time to Die will have a deeper connection to the original novels. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with risky new technology. The cast also includes Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, David Dencik and Dali Benssalah.
