Browns LT Greg Robinson arrested on marijuana charges

Browns LT Greg Robinson arrested on marijuana charges”

He later signed with Cleveland in 2018 and the team resigned him again a year ago as he started in 14 games.

If convicted, both could be sentenced to up to 20 years in federal prison. It was unclear from jail and federal court records if they had attorneys. TMZ notes that Robinson and Bray weren't attempting to reenter the United States from Mexico but were en route from Los Angeles to Louisiana and ran into a checkpoint.

Robinson was reportedly trying to enter the U.S.at the Sierra Blanca border checkpoint when he was stopped by border patrol and found with "a large amount" of marijuana.

It wasn't clear how much marijuana was allegedly in Robinson's possession. A third person was in the vehicle but was not charged in the matter.

Robinson was the second overall pick of the 2014 draft by the Rams, but didn't pan out as hoped for his first club. He signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2018. He'll most likely be looking for another team to show him the green, as multiple reports say the Browns don't plan to re-sign the pending free agent. Last season, Robinson was benched for one game and missed another due to a concussion.
