'Learn Korean With BTS' to launch on Weverse March 24”

It was said that the format is the same as the band's previous variety show titled "Run BTS!" in the videos, the members will pick out Korean words and expressions that they frequently used when in concerts, shows and so on.

The K-pop super stars- V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jeon Jung- kook, Suga- are releasing a collection of Korean language training videos, in a quote to develop a more powerful link with their worldwide fans. While live audience was not allowed during the tapings, BTS also performed at various South Korean music shows like Music Bank and Music Core and had ON get a staggering 15 wins, so far. This new learning initiative comes in the form of an ongoing series of helpful Korean language lessons dubbed the "Learn Korean With BTS" educational tool, and it is now open for members of the worldwide BTS ARMY to enjoy picking up Korean, via some help from the Bangtan Boys themselves.

The idea came about after the band's passionate fanbase called for English subtitles to be added to their videos.

That is why it was so exciting to learn that BTS and their managing agency, Big Hit, would be releasing a series of 30 Korean language lessons on their social media app Weverse starting from March 24th. They had planned a coinciding Korean tour, however it was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.

Alongside this, BTS have launched a series of special online classes, meant to assist fans in learning Korean.

Each video will be approximately three minutes long and will provide a brief lesson about Korean phrases and grammar.

In a statement Big Hit said, "We are planning Korean education contents to improve our accessibility".

A survey in 20 countries about the global perception of Korea released last month by the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) showed that Korea's positive image was greatly influenced by pop culture including K-pop, Korean films and literature. The first three episodes are already out - they were released at 2:00 pm KST (1:00 am EST) on March 24.
