PM Says Easter Bunny Is an 'Essential Worker'”

Ontario's list of essential workers now includes first responders and healthcare personnel as well as employees at food s services establishments like restaurants that do takeout and grocery stores, but the Easter Bunny was conspicuously absent, despite the fact that they regularly deliver food, such as chocolate eggs.

Children are being asked to colour in the Easter egg template she posted or to design their own then stick it in a window at home so everyone in their street could "have the chance to hunt for eggs this weekend".

The order also confirmed the Easter Bunny is not allowed to deliver treats in parks, playgrounds or any outdoor recreational amenities in Ontario, as though were closed down due to social distancing regulations a short time ago.

On Tuesday, the mayor wrote a tweet declaring that the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy are both essential workers - following in the footsteps of New Zealand's Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, who declared both essential workers on April 6. "We can all work together to make sure Easter treats - and all essential services - continue to be delivered in Ontario".

Phillip corrected him saying Jacinda actually quoted, "essential workers". "I will see if I can put in a good word on word on behalf of the Easter Bunny as far as Ontario is concerned because I am sure the premier will want to make sure that is done".

Addressing a press conference, New Zealand's prime minister said the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy were "essential workers" after a reporter said that many children were anxious their services would be affected by restrictions.

Tory, however, expressed no such concerns for Toronto and said that he still expects the Easter Bunny to be able to complete all of his usual duties, despite the pandemic. "I'm applauding the nurses and the doctors and the anaesthetists and the ambulance drivers", Ferrari said, much to Willoughby and Schofield's dismay.

Ardern then suggested that in lieu of being visited by the bunny, New Zealand children could create their own neighbourhood-wide Easter egg hunt this year.

During a press conference on Monday, Tory urged urged residents who observe Easter and Passover to avoid gatherings and to "stay home and stay safe" during the crisis. But that won't stop one worker on their most important day of the year - Easter Sunday.
