Kate Middleton Says Prince George Is "Jealous" of Princess Charlotte

Kate Middleton Says Prince George Is

The duchess called in to This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in order to discuss her new initiative Hold Still, which invites the people of the United Kingdom to create portraits of the extraordinary times we are now living in.

A keen amateur photographer, she has won acclaim for portraits of her children, including snaps of Charlotte delivering food to vulnerable people on the Sandringham estate. He was impressed, especially with Prince Louis' recent photos. "I'm impressed by her pictures, absolutely", he added.

In the chat, she revealed that six-year-old George has been suffering a bit as he wants to complete Charlotte's more informal five-year homework instead of his own job.

For the project, the Duchess of Cambridge has selected some of her favourite photographs that capture the "resilience, bravery and kindness" of Britons at the time of the crisis.

"Luckily, that wasn't documented but I was pretty much.I looked like Louis at the end of those". We hadn't done a huge amount of face calls. We try and check in daily with family members. It is hard to explain to a child of five and six, nearly seven years, what is happening.

On her own skills as a photographer, she said: "One of the fantastic things about photography is really capturing that moment, so it's not stage setting it, it's not clearing your house so you've got the ideal setup. It's really capturing those moments that feel real to you". The National Portrait Gallery was once of her first royal patronages announced in 2012 and Kate was made an honorary member of the Royal Photographic Society in 2017.

Camilla told This Morning: "I was speaking to somebody who knows the Duchess well, who pointed out that her father, Michael Middleton, is a good photographer and really enthused by camera work generally and he taught her everything she knows apparently".

"We have all seen some incredible images out there and heard some unbelievable stories, and some desperately sad stories but also some really uplifting ones", the Duchess said in an interview. They are open for six weeks.
