"The Flash" Actor Logan Williams Died Of Drug Overdose

Three days later on April 3, Williams was mourning the death of her son at a funeral home.

Actor Logan Williams, who played the younger version of Barry Allen in Young "The Flash", died in early April. He was 16 years old at the time, and would have celebrated his 17th birthday exactly one week later. No cause of death has been revealed. At the time, the Canadian actor's household didn't title a trigger of demise, however his mom, Marlyse Williams, told the New York Post in an interview this week a preliminary toxicology report confirmed Logan died of a fentanyl overdose. It is a synthetic opioid that is actually used as a pain reliever in anesthesia.

"I did everything humanly possible - everything a mother could do".

Flash star Grant Gustin said that Williams' passing was "devastating", adding: "My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is I'm sure an unimaginably hard time for them".

It has been several weeks since Logan Williams passed away at the age of 16 but now the cause of death has finally been revealed.

She told the New York Post as his addiction progressed, she tried to help her son seek all the treatment he needed and even remortgaged their home to send him to a treatment facility in the U.S. and then to another one in British Columbia. "It will help a lot of people in the future".

"His death is not going to be in vain", she told the New York Post.

"There was the brightest moon shining down on me and I swear that was Logan's spirit, letting me know he had transitioned", she said. In recent years, she remortgaged their home to send him to treatments centers in the United States and then British Columbia.

Canada's Tri-City News quoted Williams's mother, Marlyse Williams, saying she is "absolutely devastated" from his death. "Unfortunately, I can relate", she said. I'm going to get better. She just knows the last thing they said to each other was, 'I love you'.

Marlyse shared that her boy's fatality has actually inspired her to bring understanding to the opioid situation. "And I want my new life to start, '" she remembered.

"I was so impressed by not only Logan's talent but his professionalism on set", Gustin wrote.

The flash Star Grant Gustin, adult Barry Allen in the CW series, posted a photo of Williams with Jesse L. Martin taken during the 2014 pilot episode. "Sending love to everyone".
