Dunbar's lawyer: 5 witnesses exonerate CB of role in armed robbery”

However, Michael Grieco, Dunbar's attorney, and Baker's attorney, Bradford Cohen, maintain the players' innocence, citing statements both say they have received from people on the scene.

"His career and reputation have been put in jeopardy as a result of an overzealous [Miramar, Florida police department] that was so excited about arresting a pro football player that they tweeted out their celebration and even tagged his employer in their virtual touchdown dance..."

The alleged incident took place late Wednesday night at a party.

Police are still searching for Quinton Dunbar, a 27-year-old Seattle Seahawks cornerback, also charged with armed robbery.

Now, in a report from TMZ, it was revealed by Baker's attorney that the Giants star has turned himself in to police and is now facing multiple charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault. It states that Baker intentionally threatened victims with a firearm.

The arrest warrant states Baker told two individuals to take money and valuables from party guests, and that he directed a man in a red mask to shoot a person.

The affidavit includes conflicting accounts from witnesses as to whether Dunbar was armed, with some saying they didn't see a gun in his possession. "We welcome anyone that may want to provide a new statement to come into the police department and do so".

"We do not have any updates regarding Dunbar", Rues told the TNT.

Rues said Grieco's actions were appalling and "just a distraction to what's really going on".

"Today our client Quintin Dubar voluntarily surrendered at the Broward County Jail pursuant to a bogus arrest warrant based exclusively on uncorroborated witness statements that have since been recanted". It's on a case-by-case basis. The league will review the incident under its personal conduct policy and hand out discipline if warranted. The 2019 first-round draft pick started 15 games for the Giants as a rookie. Both players are from Miami. We have been in contact with DeAndre.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks said it's "aware of the situation involving Quinton Dunbar and still gathering information", according to ESPN. As of right now, this is a developing story with the NFL, Seahawks, and Giants investigating what really went down. "We have no further comment at this time", it said in a statement, according to ESPN.
