Tornado watch issued for Central and Western Massachusetts Friday”

The threat for storms will be with us through the weekend as temps reach anywhere from the upper 70s to middle 80s.

The storm risk will increase this afternoon and evening as a line drops in from the north and northwest. Storm chances are a little higher west of I-95. Wednesday is it for a bit for below average highs in the upper 50s.

That front will hang out around central Virginia for much of Sunday. We will have light winds with a mostly cloudy sky. This storm will track to the NNE over the next few days.

Saturday showers and thunderstorms likely in the morning moving east into the Gulf before noon then calming down during the afternoon with a high of 87.

Sunday has a different scenario all together with rain and storms back in the forecast. Arthur will move away from the United States of America, but an upper-level area of low pressure will move into the region and stall out for a good portion of the week.

As the weekend rolls in, parts of the northeast region can see potential severe weather on Friday, bringing the chance of tornadoes and strong winds.
