Maria was laid to her rest in the Orthodox section of Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery on May 8.

Born in 1988 in Luxembourg, Maria had shifted to Russian Federation when she was 5-years-old.

She can be survived by her dad and mom, Princess Maria-Anna (born Archduchess of Austria) and Prince Piotr Galitzine, a Russian aristocrat. Her great-grandfather on the maternal side was Charles I of Habsburg - the last ruler of the Austro-Hungarian Imperial-Royal family.

The Austrian princess, Maria Singh, lived in Houston with her husband whom she had married in April 2017.

Born in 1988, Maria is a descendant of Emperor Karl I and Zita de Borbon-Parma.

"My life is completely normal unless we are invited to royal weddings. My mail sometimes says "Princess Tatiana.' What was weird was when I went from 'Princess" to 'Mrs.' I had been a princess all my life".
