Borussia Dortmund celebrates goal with proper social distancing”

Erling Haaland picked up where he left off by scoring the first Bundesliga goal of the return, as Borussia Dortmund went ahead against Schalke.

The goalkeeper, who also had a stint with Real Madrid Castilla, teamed up with the Norway global striker in the earliest days of his career when he was with Molde. He clearly has no intention of doing any different now that they've resumed.

Meanwhile, the Belgian shot-stopper says it would be huge news in Norway if Haaland was to team up with Martin Odegaard at Real Madrid, with the Bernabeu club having been strongly linked with a move for the striker next summer. "The players were very focused on their task", the manager added.

Haaland continued his exceptional goalscoring file for the Bundesliga facet when he scored the opening goal of the match at an empty Sign Iduna Park. Raphael Guerreiro scored a brace while the last goal of the match was registered by Thorgan Hazard.

The Bundesliga is the first major soccer league to return to action since the virus earlier this year shut down sports, and its return in a country that still has hundreds of positive virus cases a day is being closely watched by other leagues.

To maintain the social distancing norms, substitutes were sitting at 1.5m distance from each other with their masks on.

Only Hertha Berlin's players violated the rules when they celebrated their goals in the usual way as a group during a 3-0 win at Hoffenheim that earned coach Bruno Labbadia a winning debut on their bench.

Borussia Dortmund's 4-0 win has moved them to within one point of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table, but the Rekordmeister could extend their lead if they beat Mainz on Sunday.
