Conor McGregor Thanks Mike Tyson After Glowing Boxing Praise

Conor McGregor Thanks Mike Tyson After Glowing Boxing Praise”

However, while UFC may be more popular these days, it doesn't mean that boxing is extinct entirely, as even UFC's biggest star - Conor McGregor - crossed over to cut a boxing check back in back in August of 2017. The talk, with UFC heavyweight knockout artist Francis Ngannou as the guest on the show, touched the topic of crossover bouts when "The Sweet Science" meets MMA. "He went 10 rounds with the greatest boxer in the land, in 100 years of boxing".

But almost three years on from his defeat, McGregor has rewatched the "great contest" and reckons he won all of the early rounds and even "later rounds" despite tiring as the fight went on.

In response, McGregor thanked "Iron" Mike for his comments and promised "his life" on beating the undefeated Mayweather in what he believes to be "the inevitable rematch" between them.

"People ain't looking. but look what he had to fight against and look what he did when he fought against it. He goes 10 rounds and we're fighting?". That's a bad motherf*cker.

What did you think of the performance Conor McGregor put forth in his fight with Floyd Mayweather?

Mayweather, who cruised to 50-0, allowed The Notorious to slowly burn out before completely taking over in the second half of the fight.

Not so long ago, Mayweather called a welcome fee for the fight with Nurmagomedov.

McGregor got word of Tyson's praise and was quick to thank the former world champion while outlining that he is still holding out for a rematch with Mayweather.

Regarding the inevitable revenge: given the current knowledge about the style of Floyd training with my Boxing coach, I will solve the puzzle and beat Floyd.

'I promise my life on it.

"It was a great contest, just watched it back", McGregor wrote.
