Did Google just leak Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 prices?

Did Google just leak Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 prices?”

The Pixel 4a, with its cut in price, could give the new iPhone SE 2020 a run for its money.

In a podcast from the Google rumors website 9to5Google, the hosts discussed a rumor that the Soli chip will be left out of the Pixel 5.

Google added motion sensors to last year's Pixel 4 to enable users to interact with their phone without having to touch it, but the resulting tech, Motion Sense, didn't work very well. Reports have been swirling around that the Pixel 4a will be cheaper than the rumored $399 price tag and now Google has lent more credibility to those leaks.

More news: Apple's iPhone SE pre-orders are live

As spotted by Android Authority, a Reddit user posted a screenshot of a phone price survey Google's apparently been circulating around.

While the survey is no confirmation that these would be the actual starting prices of the upcoming Pixel 4a and Pixel 5, this is something Google desperately needs to stay relevant. The survey then offered short descriptions for two unnamed phones. Google itself, however, may have just given us some clues on the prices of these upcoming devices. That phone is listed at $349, while a second model described as a "Premium Google Pixel Phone" with "best in class camera, wireless charging and water resistance" would cost $699. This premium handset would start at $699 (or $29.13/month), which is $100 cheaper than the Pixel 4 is retailing for right now.

Considering that all of this information comes from a random online survey, it's best to take it with a grain of salt, but it is possible that we now know some of the most important details about the next two Pixel phones. He now resides in NY writing for BGR.
