iQOO has been teasing the launch of its latest Z-series phones for quite some time now.

iQOO Z1 5G smartphone was launched on 19th May 2020.

The iQOO Z1 smartphone comes in two color options such as Space Blue, Galaxy Silver, and Symphony Meteor. The same, however, will not work in India due to the lack of 5G infrastructure. Read on to find out everything about the handset. For the same price, the company is selling the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. There is also an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the iQOO Z1, which is priced at RMB 2,498 (roughly Rs 26,600). You will have up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage onboard as well.

iQOO Z1 features a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.4% screen-to-body ratio, and most importantly, a 144Hz refresh rate. Users will also get an option to select 60Hz or 90Hz display option in the settings.

Notably, the iQOO Z1 is not the first phone to offer a 144Hz display. The phone will run on Android 10 with MIUI and it will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery and 22.5W fast charging support. The brand claims that the charger can top up the new iQOO phone by 50 percent in 23 minutes. Even some of the games have been optimized to support the highest refresh rate on the device. For audiophiles, the phone features dual stereo speakers and a Smart PA amplifier. Some of the camera capabilities of the smartphone include Hyper HDR, human eye tracking, low-light, and ultrawide photography.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the iQOO Z1 5G on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a third 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture.
