Lack of immunity makes China vulnerable to second wave of virus infection”

As everybody knows, the birthplace of the novel CoronaVirus is Wuhan of Chinese Province in late December 2019.

It should be mentioned that China is the first country to be affected by the virus outbreak, especially Hubei's Wuhan city is where the Coronavirus is believed to have originated. According to Dr. Zhong Nanshan, the Chinese government's senior medical adviser, the majority of Chinese are susceptible to the COVID-19 infection due to lack of immunity.

Beijing has done away with the guideline that residents should wear masks while on outdoors, the first city in China and perhaps in the world to do so in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, signalling that the coronavirus is under control in the Chinese capital.

China has reported more than 82,000 coronavirus cases, with at least 4,633 deaths, according to data from the country's National Health Commission. To be specific, three cases were locally transmitted in the country's another largest province Jilin located in the Northeastern part of China.

Jilin is the second largest city of Jilin province, which borders North Korea and Russian Federation. Earlier the USA, top critic of China, especially US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claimed that Beijing was not forthcoming about the severity of the Coronavirus and their efforts to contain it.

The residents of the city are not allowed to leave and those who want to will have to provide a negative test result taken within the previous 48 hours. Of the total cases, 86 patients were being treated.

The announcement comes ahead of China's Parliament - the National People's Congress (NPC) - all set to hold its postponed annual session on May 22 amid a steady decline in the coronavirus cases in the country. Amidst, China's ambassador Xiaoming while speaking to United Kingdom declared that there is nothing to hide and fear, Also the country is open, transparent and undoubtedly will welcome a WHO organized independent review.

With the urge to appear before the independent inquiry in the upcoming World Health Assembly by European Union and several nations, China clearly says that they will support an investigation conducted only by WHO.
