WWE wrestling star Shad Gaspard reported missing

WWE wrestling star Shad Gaspard reported missing”

Shad Gaspard's son was rescued, but officials have not been able to find Gaspard himself.

Since being released by WWE in 2010, Gaspard kept himself busy and did motion capture for the video game God Of War and helped with stunts in the 2020 DC film Birds Of Prey.

While not naming Gaspard, authorities in Los Angeles County told CNN they are actively searching for a swimmer after he was pulled out to sea by a rip current on Sunday afternoon.

Gaspard went missing after swimming with his wife and 10-year-old son at Venice Beach. A witness said that the wrestler told lifeguards to save his child first.

"That group was stuck in one of the rip currents and were swimming just north of the lifeguard tower", said Barnes.

Rescuers continued looking for Gaspard until sundown Sunday.

During the rescue, we're told another big wave crashed down on Gaspard - and that's the last time he was seen. Beaches reopened in Los Angeles County on Wednesday. The Daily Mail added that neighbors have provided Siliana and her son with water, blankets and chairs, noting that they remained at the same location since the incident.

Gaspard most famously was part of the tag team, Cryme Tyme, in WWE. Divers have been sent into the waters and helicopters are trying to search for Gaspard from above.
