Are Joaquin Phoenix & Rooney Mara Expecting A Baby?

Are Joaquin Phoenix & Rooney Mara Expecting A Baby?”

While this potentially handsome news between Mara and Joaquin Phoenix hasn't been confirmed, the co-stars of Her and Mary Magdeline wouldn't be faulted if they stayed mum on the situation.

Page Six in America has reported Mara is pregnant.

Yup, an unnamed source broke the news this morning in a Page Six exclusive which revealed the pregnancy and stated that Mara "may be as far as six months along".

Meanwhile, reps for both Mara, 35, and Phoenix, 45, have refused to respond to numerous requests for comment from the Post. The couple maintain a very private lifestyle and have yet to confirm or deny the report.

Mara was last seen in public on Mother's Day earlier this month in a loose-fitting T-shirt while visiting the house of her actress sister Kate, according to the Daily Mail.

Rooney and Joaquin have been together for more than three years.

Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix Expecting First Child: Source

Joaquin was speaking to Vanity Fair magazine, and said he though Rooney "despised" him when they first met, before realising she was just "shy".

Previous year while doing press to promote his starring turn in "Joker" - for which he won the best actor Academy Award in February - Joaquin told Vanity Fair that he used to think Rooney "despised" him, though he later realized she was just shy.

"She's the only girl I ever looked up on the internet", Phoenix explained. But until we know for sure, we'll just be patiently waiting by our computer for an update. I'd never done that.

Well, if the rumour is true, we can't contain our excitement!

Rooney split with director Charlie McDowell - the son of actors Mary Steenburgen and Malcolm McDowell - in 2016 after a six-year romance.
