Ryan Seacrest returns to 'Live With Kelly' after suffering from 'exhaustion'”

Ryan Seacrest's rep is addressing concerns over his health.

Despite worrying fans - who falsely speculated that Seacrest might have had a stroke on air - the multi-hyphenate entertainer made his small-screen comeback Tuesday morning in good spirits.

Many fans of Ryan Seacrest were left anxious for the host after the recent finale of American Idol where he appeared to be visibly disheveled. And also the very kind well wishes for my exhaustion. Working round-the-clock so I got a day off to relax.

Ryan Seacrest has returned to his morning talk show Live with Kelly and Ryan and broken his silence after fans became concerned for his health when the seasoned host appeared to slur his words while hosting American Idol.

The rep's statement went on to explain that: 'Like many people right now, Ryan's adjusting to this new normal and finding work - home balance, with the added stress of having to host live shows from home. The 45-year-old TV host thanked Ripa's actor hubby, Mark Consuelos, on Tuesday's show for replacing him during his absence. His representative said there was no cause for concern and that the hardworking host was just exhausted, and taking a well-deserved day off today.

"First of all, let me just say, to people commenting about our appearance-how dare you!" she said on the show after Ryan noted that some fans have been commenting they "look shiny" on the show these days. "But I'm not going to do that because I keep telling myself, 'you're a professional'".

Ryan did not address the concerns on social media and his only tweet on Sunday was a congratulatory message for the season three victor, Just Sam. "#IdolFinale" he wrote after the finale aired.

Since the coronavirus pandemic took hold of the nation in March, American Idol, along with many other TV productions, suspended production with live studio audiences.

Seacrest joked about his hectic at-home schedule earlier this month on Instagram.
