TikTok bans Faizal Siddiqui's account due to 'multiple community guideline violations'

TikTok bans Faizal Siddiqui's account due to 'multiple community guideline violations'”

After a lot of noise regarding TikTok, the App is now witnessing its lowest rating ever i.e- 2.0. In what appears to be some form of war between some Indian YouTubers' fans and popular TikTokers, the app has been caught in the crossfire and is receiving low rating after low rating.

In response to YouTube's punitive action against CarryMinati, many of his followers and other popular YouTube influencers started a campaign against TikTok.

However, later, in an Instagram post, Faizal said that the video being circulated on social media is half circulated and that his intentions were not to promote acid attack incidents.

The first video by TikTok influencer Faizal Siddiqui, in which he is seen in a clip allegedly glorifying acid attack and another where his brother Amir Siddiqui compares content created by TikTok and YouTube influencers. The NCW chief also said, she is in complete support to ban the social media platform TikTok and she will not tolerate any medium that could encourage youngsters to perform violence of any sort.

Rekha Sharma has asked the Maharashtra DGP and TikTok India content supervisor Anuj to remove the video as soon as possible and disable Faizal Siddiqui TikTok Id.

They did not stop there as many fans apparently started uninstalling and reporting TikTok on Google's Playstore and Apple's App Store, making the app flooded with a 1-star rating. The video was later taken down by YouTube as it violated the platform's policy. TikTok has presently suspended his account for violation of multiple community guidelines. Acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal has now reacted to the viral video. "Such videos/actions should be strictly debarred which are against society".

Filmmaker and actress Pooja Bhatt took to Twitter and said that the video is depraved. "There's a bunch of stupidly enthusiastic people doing just about anything on social media, who must be shown the door in order to keep a proper decorum".

Faizal Siddiqui's account can no longer be accessed on the TikTok.
