Todd Tilghman Crowned 'The Voice' Season 18 Champion

Todd Tilghman Crowned 'The Voice' Season 18 Champion”

Each of the coaches-Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas-still have a contestant from their team in the running, and when the live finale kicks off on NBC on Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET, viewers will finally learn how America voted when one artist is named the victor. NBC's The Voice followed in the footsteps of ABC's American Idol in handling the "from-home" format gracefully for several episodes, ultimately crowning Team Blake Shelton's Tilghman the victor of Season 18.

"When my name was called, I blacked out", Tilghman said during a press conference with the country star following the win. "It was like magic what they did, because it wasn't like there was this one control center somewhere in California ..." There's no excuses. It's time.

The five remaining finalists - Micah Iverson from Team Kelly, Thunderstorm Artis from Team Nick, CammWess from Team John, Toneisha Harris and Todd Tilghman from Team Blake - battled it out for the crown on the virtual finale.
