New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft's Super Bowl LI championship ring sold for $1.025 million in an auction for the "All In Challenge", the team announced Thursday. The unidentified victor beat out 34 other bids, which opened at $75,000 about two weeks ago.

The victor of the auction will receive the ring and will also get to fly out to Gillette Stadium to meet the Patriots owner. You can see the auction lot at Fanatics, where the Patriots owner's ring is being auctioned off for the All-In Challenge. The price jumped up nearly instantly to more than $330,000, and then surpassed $1 million with nine days left in the auction. "So I thought it would be good to give this ring. because it showed how we came back".

There were 35 total bids in the auction before it closed, though the price quickly escalated from the initial $75,000 asking price.

"It showed how we came back". We were down 28-3 [in the third quarter] and had 99.6% [odds] to lose.

"I thought about what is going on at this time and wanted to give something of extreme value". As of Thursday night, the All In Challenge had raised almost $45.7 million, according to its website.
