Federal court hands 'Tiger King' Joe Exotic's properties to Carole Baskin

Federal court hands 'Tiger King' Joe Exotic's properties to Carole Baskin”

As you will no doubt remember, Exotic - real name Joe Maldonado-Passage - is now serving a 22-year prison sentence for attempting to hire a man to kill his longtime rival Baskin, founder of Big Cat Rescue.

Maldonado-Passage was convicted in an unsuccessful murder-for-hire plot against Carole Baskin, the founder of Big Cat Rescue, who he has repeatedly accused of killing her husband Jack "Don" Lewis.

The court ruled that Exotic had fraudulently transferred the zoo to his mother, Shirley M. Schreibvogel, in 2011, in an attempt to avoid losing the properties to creditors amid ongoing lawsuits with Baskin.

As you will already know, the G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park in Wynnewood is now managed by Jeff Lowe. He's now serving a 22-year sentence in federal prison.

"Schreibvogel later admitted under oath that the zoo land was transferred to her by Joe Maldonado to remove it from the reach of creditors, including BCR, should BCR win its Florida lawsuit", the complaint stated. The current owners have 120 days to vacate Tiger King Park, including removing all zoo animals from the land.

'We have long anticipated that the judge would eventually undo the 2016 land transfer.

If you hadn't heard, Jeff was already planning to ditch Joe's old Tiger King Park property in Wynnewood, OK.

"All of Jeff's focus is on opening the new Tiger King Park in Thackerville, (Oklahoma), which should be opening in the next 120 days".

Jeff and Lauren continued, "Considering [Carole] spent approximately 2.5M chasing her 1M judgment, we congratulate her on her new acquisition of 16 acres in rural Oklahoma".

Baskin seemingly won't be responsible for the array of big cats in the animal park.
