You Can Finally Play 'Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge' from 'The Simpsons'”

He found out that stealing is not okay, there's nothing as valuable as a mother's love, and a present is meaningful because of who gives it to you, not what they give you. Bart wants Bonestorm, but eventually receives a much less thrilling alternative, the golfing - nay, the putting - simulator, Lee Carvello's Putting Challenge.

For the record, whether you pick a putter or 3-wood or a feather touch or power drive, the outcome of Demeter's game will always be the same.

Now, however, one Simpsons super-fan has gone the extra mile to bring a moment from the show to life by recreating a playable version of the game Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge.

You can step out onto the links of Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge thanks to this fan-game made by Aaron Demeter (which we first heard about at Uproxx).

However, those of us who want to have a go at playing the iconic video game can now have that opportunity almost a quarter of a century after the episode's release.

Only it's not Bonestorm.

The game is a faithful recreation of the game we see in Marge Be Not Proud and features gameplay just as monotonous as the real thing.

You can even download the game to your PC for free, although there is an option to pay what you want for the game if you so choose. It doesn't attempt to expand on the version that appears in the original episode, but don't worry, you can still yeet the golf ball into the parking lot if you ignore Mr. Carvello's helpful advice.

Which is really the only choice. We asked for Bonestorm, but Marge got us Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge instead.
