Yuji Naka Working With Square Enix To Develop Balan Wonderland”

The game marks Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima's first collaboration in 20 years and is the first game from the newly established BALAN COMPANY gaming brand. Players will assume the role of Leo and Emma and embark on an adventure led by the maestro named Balan.

Balan Wonderworld is a new project from Square's Balan Company studio, headed up by veteran platformer developers Yuji Naka (Sonic the Hedgehog, Nights Into Dreams) and Naoto Ohshima (Sonic character designer).

When a game stands up and says that it is from the creators of a franchise such as Sonic The Hedgehog it tends to make folks take notice. This platform game for the whole family will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Serie X and on PC in the spring of 2021. Their goal is to restore happiness and balance to the hearts and minds of anyone they encounter. These two obviously work brilliantly together and it will be great to see where they take this game.
