Prince Harry and Meghan Markle launch legal action over drone pictures”

While the media speculated that Meghan was behind the decision for the couple to step back, the book says she was "willing to do whatever it takes" to make it work.

Sources on Saturday insisted palace insiders were "completely relaxed" about the contents of the book, believing it had not yet revealed any new "bombshell" that could hurt the Queen or her family.

The duke and duchess said the tabloid harassment finally came to a head when they saw that a photo of Archie that was purportedly taken on a family outing in Malibu was being offered to media outlets.

Daily Mail reports there are fears at Buckingham Palace that the book will destroy any hopes that Harry and Meghan will fix their relationships with the Royal Family.

"There were just a handful of people working at the Palace they could trust", one friend of the Sussexes claimed.

A sensational new biography about Harry and Meghan claims the royal couple were furious about having to take a "back seat" for senior royals, including Princes William and Charles.

"The Sussexes had made the monarchy more relatable to those who had never before felt a connection, " they wrote. "However, there were concerns that the couple should be brought into the fold; otherwise the establishment feared their popularity might eclipse that of the royal family".

The violation occurred at Tyler Perry's Beverly Hills estate, which is nestled inside a gated community, where the couple is living until they find a permanent home.

A spokesperson for Meghan and Harry said: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed and did not contribute to Finding Freedom".

"This book is based on the authors' own experiences as members of the royal press corps and their own independent reporting", the statement added. Only the messy abdication of Edward VIII in 1936 served as a guide to the potential pitfalls.

The authors have been described as supporters of the couple and claim their book has been written with the participation of sources close to Meghan and Harry reports Daily Mail.

The lawsuit, filed in a Los Angeles court, cited "serial intrusions" into the privacy of the couple's 14-month-old son, "and the desire and responsibility of any parent to do what is necessary to protect their children from this manufactured feeding frenzy".

They say the Sussexes felt their complaints were not taken seriously and believed other royal households were leaking stories about them to the press.

That led to the appearance of drones that flew as low as 20 feet ( 6 meters) above their home, as often as three times a day, in attempts to get photos, the lawsuit says. Helicopters have also flown over as early as 5:30 a.m., disturbing the sleep of their child and their neighbours.

Rebecca May said: "It's an unnamed photographer, [who] is actually claiming that the photograph was taken in a public space, which is why there is a dispute".
