Rockstar unveils a summer update and a huge update”

In the announcement, Rockstar said, "players can expect more big updates for both games, including some exciting new extensions and augmentations to an existing role in Red Dead Online, and the biggest ever update for GTA Online". GTA Online's fresh batch of presently lacks release date details, but one update should arrive sometime this summer. Frontier Pursuits have been implemented as the game's rendition of side-stories that are different for each player class chosen. Next Tuesday's Red Dead Online update will add a new Frontier Pursuit role that will focus on naturalism.

It's been a trying time for Red Dead Online fans of late, who recently started dressing up as clowns to bring to light just how few updates the game has received over the last few months.

Rockstar announced the updates today via a post on its official blog. According to the developer, a summer update will be coming soon to the game that mixes things up and offers a slew of new content for players to enjoy.

The RDR2 Update 1.20 should be very extensive, there will be a new outlaw pass and new content will be added.

Of course, this is purely speculation on behalf of the Redditor, but other players have come around to the line of thinking - believing that Rockstar are just going to drop new buildings to explore, heist, and even own. Alongside these two big pieces of content, Rockstar is promising "tons" of community requested fixes and features.

What GTA Online has turned into may shock most fans and worry some of its most dedicated players, as the infestation of hackers goes far deeper than simply modding real-world Pagani supercars and map alterations into the experience.

It looks like we'll have some regular content updates to keep an eye on and we'll try to keep you updated as they're released.
