The NEOWISE Comet on Utah Skies

The NEOWISE Comet on Utah Skies”

The comet will be easily visible with binoculars for watchers in brightly lit cities, and possibly even seen by the naked eye under dark and clear enough skies.

Amateur astrologers were urged to take advantage of the arrival of the newly-discovered visitor visible to the naked eye over the skies of the United Kingdom as Comet NEOWISE will not return to our neighbourhood for another 6,800 years.

NEOWISE will be best viewed with a telescope or binoculars, and won't return to our skies for nearly 6,800 years. This debris results in the customary tail that is visible in the night sky.

"The tail was visible, and there was the added bonus of the noctilucent clouds".

Neowise survived its closest brush with the sun on July 3 and has been heading in our direction ever since. After July 22 the comet gets dimmer as it moves away from Earth.

Amateur astronomers managed to take unbelievable images of the cosmic snowball, and shared their photos on social media.

Comet Neowise was spotted for the first time by NASA in March this year with the help of its Near-Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (NEOWISE) telescope.

A once-in-a-lifetime comet presented a rare display in the early evening skies over the Anza Valley over the past few days.

There are now more than 400 Starlink satellites orbiting the Earth as part of the Elon Musk-owned SpaceX plan to beam high-speed internet down to Earth.

And the comet will make its cloest approach to Earth tonight.

More than the past pair of weeks, a number of amateur astrophotographers have shared gorgeous visuals of the comet captured as it appeared just previously mentioned the horizon in predawn skies.
