Oppo Reno4 Pro launched in India with Snapdragon 720G, price”

The selfie camera should be a 32MP one, just like it is on the Chinese model. The panel also features curves that effectively make it look like a bezel-less smartphone. A Snapdragon 720G chipset is chief among those, sitting a couple of notches below the S765G in the Reno4 Pro 5G, but still a capable performer nonetheless.

Oppo is expected to unveil the global version of the Reno4 Pro later today, but its vanilla sibling is already up online in Thailand. According to the company, the 8nm Qualcomm chip has a 47% higher single-core performance.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an 1.7-micron aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a third 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a fourth 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The display is created to make the colours pop, just as they do on the OPPO Find X2 Pro with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. It comes with 8GB of RAM. It comprises of a graphics tube, graphite sheet, and a copper foil to keep the temperatures in check while gaming or heavy usage.

Another difference is that it is backed by a slightly larger 4,015mAh battery but only supports 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge via USB Type-C port. According to the company, the phone can fully charge in just 36-minutes. According to the Chinese maker, this system is quite safe offering a multi-layer protection setup.

Oppo also comes baked with a 3D multi-cooling system. Every component - power brick, cable, phone, and even the battery itself - monitors the situation and if anything goes wrong, the power is cut immediately.

The global version of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro will be available in two distinct color options - Starry Night and Silky White. Both options come with a matte finish ensuring that it will not attract fingerprints. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 34,990 in India and will be available from August 5. Unfortunately, this box's content has not been detailed. We will place a call into the folks at OPPO to check in on local availability and pricing and will update you when we find out more.
