Alyssa Milano losing her hair in coronavirus battle”

Alyssa Milano, popularly known for her roles as Samantha Micelli in Who's the Boss? and Billie cunningham in My Name is Earl, recently revealed that she was hospitalized and is experiencing hair loss days after she tests positive for C****-19 antibodies.

"Thought I would show you exactly what #Covid19 does for your own hair", Milano tweeted together with the video.

She wants the people to take it seriously and even mentioned "The virus sucks". She shared a video on her Twitter account to show the public what will happen to someone's hair if they contracted the virus. After brushing through her hair several times, a sizable volume of hair comes out onto the brush.

"One brushing, this is my hair loss from COVID-19", Milano said. "Wear a d*** mask".

The actress has been battling symptoms of the virus since March, when she said she began experiencing fever and headache.

"I'm POSITIVE to get covid antibodies", she wrote. "I basically had every Covid symptom". A recent survey conducted by Natalie Lambert, an associate research professor of medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine, and Survivor Corps, a grass-roots organization that connects COVID-19 survivors with resources, showed that out of more than 1,500 long-haulers who participated, 423 said they experienced hair loss.

"After living the last 4 months with lingering symptoms like vertigo, stomach abnormalities, irregular periods, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, zero short term memory, and general malaise, I went and got an antibody test from a blood draw (not the finger prick) from a lab", she continued. The report also stated that Milano started developing coronavirus symptoms in March, based on her previous Instagram post. "Please take this seriously". She also took an antibody test, for which she was given a negative result.

"I was acutely sick w/ Covid19 in April".

Alyssa describes herself as a COVID-19 'long-hauler, ' meaning her symptoms have persisted since her initial diagnosis. "Everything hurt. Reduction of smell", she wrote. "It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest", she captioned on her IG post. I could not keep food. She added that she had lost nine pounds in just two weeks. I was confused. Low grade fever.

The actress says she had COVID-19 back in April and, although she tested negative for the virus, she says she tested positive for COVID antibodies, confirming she had the deadly virus. And the headaches were frightful.

Alongside a snap of herself wearing a nebuliser and a screenshot of her antibody results, she shared on Instagram: "This was me on April 2nd after being sick for 2 weeks. Why would i F-cking lie about having a virus?"

The celebrity implored her followers to put on masks, social space and bathe their hands since she does not want anyone to feel as awful because she did. "I had Covid19. I just want you to be aware that our testing system is flawed and we don't know the real numbers".
