Dr. Dre's Estranged Wife Breaks Down $2M/Month, Claims Domestic Abuse

Dr. Dre's Estranged Wife Breaks Down $2M/Month, Claims Domestic Abuse”

The latest: Dr. Dre's estranged wife Nicole Young has filed court docs asking for nearly $2 million monthly from the rapper, who has a net worth of around $800 million.

According to reports from TMZ, Dre's estranged wife is seeking almost $2 million per month in temporary spousal support after filing for divorce back in June.

According to TMZ, she has now filed legal documents asking for US$1,936,399 monthly in temporary spousal support and US$5 million in lawyer fees. "If Dre were to deny this monthly request, yet amass his own monthly expenses of $2-4 [million]., that would not be even-handed".

TMZ believes the move speaks to the fact that the two are in for a "contentious and bitter" divorce battle because the two already have a prenup on file.

Two months ago, Young filed for divorce from the 55-year-old - whose real name is Andre Young - after 24 years of marriage.

Nicole's quality of life has not changed since filing for divorce in July, as she resides at the Malibu, California home they had shared, with amenities such as luxury vehicles and staff as reported by The Mirror.

Nicole, who's now staying at the duo's house in Malibu, Calif., claims Dre cut off her access to her American Express Black card, which he supposedly pays for.

Nicole previously claimed she "unwillingly" signed the documents amid pressure from the rapper and his team. She says 2 years into their marriage he told her he was ashamed he made her sign the prenup and tore it up in front of her. However, Dr. Dre has told the courts that his wife signed the document and wants its terms enforced.

The couple, who married on May 25, 1996, share two adult children, a son named Truice and a daughter named Truly.
