Fox News Confirms The Atlantic’s Report on Trump’s Soldier Comments

Fox News Confirms The Atlantic’s Report on Trump’s Soldier Comments”

"The Atlantic magazine is dying, like most magazines, so they make up a fake story in order to gain some relevance", wrote the president, who went on to assail the report as "a disgrace" in a briefing to White House reporters.

Jennifer Griffin, an American journalist, from a local media channel, Fox News, said two former administration officials had confirmed to her that Trump "did not want to drive to honor American war dead" at the Aisne-Marne cemetery outside Paris, and therefore missed the event.

A furious Trump tweeted late Friday: "Jennifer Griffin should be fired for this kind of reporting".

One official also told her that Trump had used the word "suckers" to denigrate the military, but in a different context related to the Vietnam War.

"I've just never been as disappointed, in my whole career, with a leader that I've worked with, president of otherwise", said Mr Biden. "He could not understand why someone would die for their country, not worth it".

"I can tell you that my sources are unimpeachable", Griffen told Cavuto.

As expected, Griffin received tweeted support from colleagues in journalism for her reporting and track record, while Trump supporters lined up on the President's team.

Griffin also stood by the credibility of her sources, noting that they are not anonymous to her and that she doubts "they are anonymous to the president", as well.

Mr. Trump suggested earlier Saturday that Fox News terminate Ms. Griffin after she confirmed parts of a bombshell article about the president recently published by The Atlantic.

President Donald Trump continued to push back today against The Atlantic's story accusing him of disparaging slain military veterans, offering retweeted rebuttals from his supporters and former staff.
