Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been asked to pay back the taxpayers money which was spent on their home following their royal marriage.

Omid Scobie, co-author of Finding Freedom said the moves the couple are making now are proof of them "thriving".

"It shows how much they were held back by tradition, hierarchy and stubbornness within the institution", Scobie said, referencing how the couple have embraced their new freedoms.

He added that the Duke and Duchess are "absolutely happy" now.

The actress had earlier became a shield and given support to Meghan when Piers Morgan, who is British broadcaster had stated the former actress to remove her title of Royal Dutchess because she addressed a video call with Michelle Obama for All Women vote campaign and had also encouraged Women to bring reform and admit their democratic rights.

Under the deal signed by the couple, Meghan and Harry will produce documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children's programming.
