Ubisoft's Immortals Fenyx Rising release date pegged for December

Ubisoft's Immortals Fenyx Rising release date pegged for December”

Ubisoft also announced that more information on the upcoming game would be revealed during the Ubisoft Forward livestream presentation on September 10. The title was previously announced at E3 2019 and should release before Q2 2021, although when it does arrive, the game will be shipping under a different name.

According to Wario64 and the accompanying listing, Immortals Fenyx Rising will be released on December 3, 2020.

Immortals Fenyx Rising (which is now trademarked) brings a "grand mythological adventure" to PC and console this year. It will also be a part of the Smart Delivery program, which will allow players to play the game on Xbox One and Series X by only buying it once. In June, Google Stadia accidentally released a playable build of the game, the state of which gave the impression that Fenyx Rising was still stuck somewhere in early development. Now, thanks to a new Microsoft Store listing, it seems as if the game is getting a new look, too.

The next Ubisoft Forward is scheduled to air September 10 at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET. You play as Fenyx, a "winged demigod" who is out on a quest to save the Greek Gods. As you progress through the game, you'll be able to make use of the iconic powers and weapons wielded by the Greek gods, including Achilles' sword and Daidalos' wings.

Discover a stylized open world across seven unique regions, each inspired by the gods.

The listing for the game popped up on the Microsoft Store, like almost every other big AAA leak, and has since been removed but this being the internet you know someone already grabbed those screenshots.

Looking closely at the leaked photos, players will also meet mythological creatures such as Medusa and Cyclops.
