Timo Werner message to new Chelsea FC signing Kai Havertz

Timo Werner message to new Chelsea FC signing Kai Havertz”

Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount, is unhappy with the arrival of Kai Havertz, which will reduce his game time under Frank Lampard, BILD reports.

Premier League side Chelsea signed 21-year-old German midfielder Kai Havertz to a five-year contract from Bundesliga's Bayer Leverkusen by paying a fee that will rise to a maximum of 70 million pounds (about 93 million US dollars).

His arrival follows that of fellow Germany global Timo Werner, as well as Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr.

The Frenchman added: "You need something more to win the title".

"I want to achieve as much as possible, I try to do my best and of course it is a very big step", he told Chelsea's official website in his first interview with the club.

Kroos, who is arguably the most successful German player outside the Bundesliga, has a lot of expectations for Havertz, although having been overseas since 2014, he also warned the new Chelsea signing about potential challenges that come with the new environment. For me it is a dream come true to play in a big club like Chelsea and I can't wait to meet all the players and the trainers.

"And also that they have very young players, English players, I think that's very nice".

"I am very happy and proud to be here". Hopefully we can have many successes.

"So I believe first, second or third". Before a ball was kicked previous year, securing a top-four finish was regarded as a great achievement for Chelsea.

The club who has offloaded Pedro to Roma and Willian who has joined AS Roma and Arsenal respectively start their 2020-21 Premier League campaign with a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion on Monday 14 September.
