COVID-19 Inspections Show Most Businesses Following the Mandates”

Three adult family homes and an assisted living facility also have an ongoing COVID-19 situation.

There were 21 people hospitalized in Clark County with COVID-19 and 7 hospitalized awaiting test results, according to Clark County Public Health.

There were three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 announced in Warren County on Wednesday.

Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen says the state needs everyone to do their part and follow the rules because keeping businesses like bars and restaurants open is "critical to the state's economy", and following the mandates and guidelines will "ensure we slow the spread of COVID-19 so that these businesses can continue to operate".

Athens County triggered three of the state's seven indicators, up one from last week: new cases per capita, new cases increase and non-congregate cases. There have been two deaths related to COVID-19 in the county. Statewide, 2,056 new positive cases and 200 deaths were reported on September 9.

Minnesota has had over 82,000 people test positive for the coronavirus. The region's positivity rate remained flat at 5.5%. An additional case required hospitalization, bringing the county's total to 24 since the beginning of the pandemic. Neither county reported a death.

Avoid contact with people who are sick. The total case count since March across the state is now at 141,877. Addison has had 1,138 confirmed cases, Naperville 1,136, Carol Stream 843 and West Chicago 1,082. A total of 112,140 residents are presumed recovered. The age range of those testing posting is less than 1 year old to 109 years of age.
