Activision job listing suggests Call of Duty: Warzone is coming to mobile

Activision job listing suggests Call of Duty: Warzone is coming to mobile”

According to the job listing, the mobile version of Warzone will likely be a watered-down version of what's now available on consoles and PCs. The job description also includes the expression "Collecting, adapting and bringing the most basic features of Warzone console and PC version to mobile". With Fortnite no longer on the App Store and more arduous to download on Android, there's definitely room for another battle royale game in the mobile market. This means that Warzone could possibly be heading to mobile devices soon.

It should come as no surprise that the firm is pushing for a mobile version of Warzone. There's no way that Activision will get rid of Call of Duty Mobile; it's worth way too much money. The Battle Royale game is now available on consoles and PC for free.

While Activision listed a number of responsibilities, PC Gamer summarized its priorities into "Warzone-specific elements", such as to improve the "Warzone formula" by proposing mobile-specific additions and to be the point person of the "Warzone Mobile leadership team" as the soldier on to make decisions regarding "user-facing features, UX and overall quality".

The Executive Producer position stated there was going to be a new AAA mobile FPS experience withing the Call of Duty universe.

Will Call of Duty Warzone Mobile a different game from COD Mobile? The game offers all of the thrills and features from the franchise but scaled down to the requirements of a mobile ecosystem.

Maybe Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will focus on advanced physics and better graphics. Apparently, the acronym clearly stands for "Warzone Mobile" in such a way some players say "CoDM" in reference to "Call of Duty: Mobile".

Since its release in March, Warzone has become a tentpole in Activision's lineup, amassing over 75 million players since launch.
