Kanye West 'kicked off' Twitter

"I need every lawyer in the world to look at these", he told his followers, while referring to the music industry as "modern-day slavery".

West called out the music industry for its treatment of African American artists and requested Black entertainers to come together and demand a fair share of the financial rewards. The producer who has worked with all of the biggest artists in hip-hop recently became vocal about the rift between him and Kanye West when he spoke out against an alleged lack of fairness on the part of the record label he is signed to.

The short video shows one of West's 21 Grammy awards sitting inside a toilet bowl, as he appears to urinate on it.

In the next step of his battle to acquire his master recordings, Kim Kardashian West's husband posted a text message between him and a legal expert with intimate knowledge of his contracts, suggesting that the superstar is considering taking legal action against Sony and Universal. On Wednesday, West fired off a tweetstorm that brought his issues with Universal Music Group, the parent company of Def Jam and his label G.O.O.D. "I'm not gonna watch my people be enslaved", West said in another tweet.

The 43-year-old rapper wrote: "Universal won't tell me what my masters cost because they know I can afford to buy them".

More news: COVID-19 kills far more Hispanic and Black children than white youths

During the Twitter spree, West also called out a number of prominent industry figures, as well as rivals including Drake and Taylor Swift, whom he asked for support.

The tweets from West, who suffers from bipolar disorder, are the latest in a series of public statements that have anxious his friends, family and fanbase.

"This was given to you by your peers out of respect for your work and you are literally pissing on them", she wrote.

West's account was likely suspended due to his sharing the private contact information of a Forbes editor, whom he branded a "white supremacist". "I've won one Grammy and I'm forever grateful and humble that my peers found me worthy of it", she added.

No spokesperson for West could be reached for comment.
