Netflix Review: Enola Holmes”

Sitting in the director's chair this go-around is Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve) with Jack Thorne (Wonder) penning the script that wastes zero time frolicking about with undesirable tangents. The story of the film revolves around the teenage sister of the famous Sherlock Holmes.

Brown, a native Brit who now resides in Georgia (U.S.) with her family, spoke about having to switch back to her roots for Enola Holmes.

With an all-star cast including Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) as Enola, Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) as Sherlock, Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games) as Mycroft, and Helena Bonham Carter (Harry Potter) as Eudoria Holmes (mother of the trio of siblings), this wonderful tale is witty, smart, full of thrills, and breaks the fourth wall as much as Deadpool would.

The Enola Holmes movie was directed by Emmy, BAFTA and Golden Globe victor Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve) from a script by BAFTA and Tony Award victor Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, The Aeronauts). But, very few people might have read it.

Then she moves to London and opens a private detective agency there.

This is not the first time that a movie has introduced a sister of Sherlock Holmes.

She noted that Holmes' outfits feature layers of clothing such as a corset and petticoat.

Enola Holmes, which arrives on Netflix on 23 September, sparked hilarity last month when eagle-eyed fans spotted a historical error in its poster.
