WandaVision Still Coming to Disney Plus Later This Year

WandaVision Still Coming to Disney Plus Later This Year”

The actor took to Twitter on Tuesday (September 15) to share an image of himself suited up as the Falcon/Sam Wilson on the Czech Republic set of the series.

Marvel's lineup of content for 2020 has taken quite a hit following the global health crisis that has forced the studio to shift its series of shows for Phase 4 such as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to a later date.

While there is now no release date set for the series, you can see in the tweet below that Disney+ added it to the slate of releases for 2020. But that timing was pushed back after production shut down in Prague in March, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Rumors flew that filming was complete, so the show was on track, but then came the news that filming was resuming in the summer months. The show, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Avengers Wanda Maximoff and the Vision, was featured in the company's new "Coming Soon 2020" trailer that's now appearing on social media.

So as of now, WandaVision will be released sometime this year.

WandaVision is set to premiere on Disney Plus in 2020.

Since the initial news dropped, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe can't help but marvel (sorry) at the fact that 2020 will include a new project from the ever-expanding franchise.

What we do know is that WandaVision will follow the life of Scarlet Witch (Wanda, played by Elizabeth Olson), in the aftermath of the death of Vision, the love of her life.
