Harley Quinn renewed as DC Universe exits scripted content — HBO Max

Harley Quinn renewed as DC Universe exits scripted content — HBO Max”

The third season will premiere on HBO Max with the announcement Friday that DC Universe is moving out of scripted original series and will transition exclusively to comic book subscription service DC Universe Infinite.

According to Bleedingcool.com, the DC Comics TV series will leave the DC Universe app for HBO Max and the like next year and DC Universe will have the opportunity to add more digital comic books to replace it and go fully global.

Now that season three is making the move to HBO Max, what does it mean for DC Universe?

Current DC Universe subscribers will not need to create new accounts. Get all the details below.

After its USA launch, DC Universe Infinite is expected to be available internationally in summer 2021. Infinite will give fans access to more than 24,000 comic books at launch and recently released comics six months after the physical versions hit store shelves, among other exclusives. When it comes to streaming video content from DC, HBO Max is the home base, while DC Universe Infinite will hold down the comic book side of things.

More news: Second wave ‘inevitable’, but does that mean we should lockdown?

DC Universe Infinite will officially launch on January 21, 2021. All comics, graphic novels and originals will also have the option of being downloaded for offline reading on a smartphone or tablet.

"Our fans love the platform's robust library of comic books and, with the transformation, we will not disappoint", said Lee in a statement. On September 18, DC made a huge announcement that is likely to send fans of their legendary comic library into the stratosphere - or rather, into the multiverse.

DC Universe had comics in its initial form, but the selection was not extensive; when I personally tried out the service, that was one of its biggest disappointments. The adult animated series follows Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) as she strives to make her own mark as a supervillain after she breaks up with the Joker. But don't worry, because you can easily upgrade to HBO Max with a limited time promotional price.

DC Universe Infinite will be available online at DCUniverseInfinite.com, iOS and Android devices for $7.99 a month or $74.99 a year ($6.25 a month). But the offer is only available through October 30, so if you want to take advantage of it, now is the time. Beginning in February 2021, existing subscribers and people who pre-order the service will be given a "thank you" voucher to the DC Shop, good for $25 for annual subscribers and $10 for monthly subscribers.
