Lindsey Graham Whines "Democrats Hate my Guts" and "I'm Getting Killed Financially"

Lindsey Graham Whines

Sen. Lindsey Graham of SC begged for campaign cash during a Thursday morning TV appearance, saying he's getting "killed" in the money game by Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison. "This money is because they hate my guts", he continued. Lindsey Graham after the South Carolina Republican said he was "getting killed financially" by his Democratic challenger, Jaime Harrison.

"My opponent will raise $100 million in the state of South Carolina", Graham said.

In the second quarter of the year, Harrison raised almost $14 million, while Graham brought in $8.4 million.

Graham began, "My opponent will raise nearly $100 million dollars, Ainsley, in the state of SC".

However, the Democratic candidate has reported a surge in recent financial support for his campaign, saying he raised $2 million with 48 hours after a poll showed him and Graham tied in the state.

"We need a full court, and I think that's possible before the election", he said on Fox and Friends. But Graham claimed on Fox News that Harrison had raised $6 million since Ginsburg's death.

"I want you to use my words against me", he said at the time. "There is a lot of shady things going on, but the courts will hear all of our complaints", Graham said.

"Lindsey Graham, a man who I used to have tremendous respect for - he's changed". Graham spoke out in favor of controversial Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in 2018 and ardently defended Trump during his impeachment trial. Trump himself, however, votes by mail, and studies have shown that voter fraud is extremely rare. Despite opposing former President Barack Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland 11 months ahead of the 2016 election, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has already announced that the upper chamber will vote on Trump's nominee to replace Ginsburg despite her "fervent wish" to "not be replaced until a new president is installed". "Look and see how this nominee will be treated compared to what liberal nominees - how they get treated with the kid gloves". The Cook Political Report rates the race as "lean Republican". Trump is expected to name a nominee over the weekend, and Graham has signaled he is working to hold hearings in the judiciary committee, which he chairs, throughout October.
