Former NJ Gov. Chris Christie leaves hospital after treatment for COVID-19”

Chris Christie was released from Morristown Medical Center on Saturday after testing positive for the coronavirus one week ago. Thanks to my family & friends for their prayers.

The 58-year-old former presidential candidate was hospitalized for a seventh day Friday, and appears to have the most serious case among the Trump aides and allies who have caught the illness, CNN said.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is now on his sixth day in the hospital being treated for COVID-19 and sources have not confirmed whether or not he is on a ventilator. "I will have more to say about all of this next week". Others have either been recovering at home or waiting to find out test results, according to CNN. Multiple sources said there were no changes to that as of Friday afternoon.

Trump continued, "And I'm going to have it delivered to every hospital- we have sick people with the COVID, or the China virus as we call it, and we're going to make people better".

Christie announced on Saturday morning that he tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Morristown Medical Center on Friday morning declined to comment. "While I am feeling good and only have mild symptoms, due to my history of asthma we decided this is an important precautionary measure", he said. In reality it will be a Trump campaign rally using the White House as a background prop. Christie - a longtime Trump friend and ally and fellow Republican - also attended the now-infamous Rose Garden ceremony where Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Trump tested positive for COVID-19 and spent several days at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center before returning to the White House.

Christie also attended the September 26 White House Rose Garden event where Trump announced his nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.
