Siena College Poll: Biden, Trump Nearly Tied in Ohio”

Malloy says their latest poll gives Joe Biden an 11-point lead in Florida, 51-40% over the president. But in its Weekly White House Watch poll out Wednesday, Rasmussen actually finds Biden with a 12-point lead nationally. 4, and has a 4.2 point margin of error.

A Quinnipiac University survey shows Biden with a 13-point lead over Trump in Pennsylvania, 54%-41%. Although she did win the popular vote, Trump won the Electoral College and emerged victorious after narrowly flipping a group of Midwestern swing states and some other battlegrounds.

The poll also found that 59% of likely voters said Biden would handle health care better than Trump, while only 39% of likely voters said Trump would better handle health care.

Franklin says at this point in the 2016 campaign, the poll had Democrat Hillary Clinton with a six-percent lead on Trump, among likely voters. The American presidential election process assigns each state a number of electoral college votes which goes to the state's victor regardless of the victory margin. Meanwhile, since that August poll, Trump's support has decreased five percentage points, from 46%.

Trump won OH, which has 18 electoral votes, by more than 8 points over Clinton in 2016. The survey of 661 likely voters was conducted from October 2-Oct.

Polled after the first presidential debate, from October 1 to October 4, 64% of voters said that Trump has not done enough to denounce white supremacist groups. The margin of error for the data from each state is plus or minus 4.3 percentage points.
