Apple surged 4% on Monday ahead of its Tuesday "Hi, Speed" event, where it's expected to officially launch its next generation iPhone 12. You can also watch the Apple Event live on the company's official YouTube page.

It was leaked by Chinese Weibo user "Kang" who shared seemingly accurate details about each product that will be released on the October 13 Apple event. This translates to 10:30 PM IST.

Apple share price has already surged over 6% higher today as investors bet that this year's event will prove to be a massive one for the tech giant.

According to Kang, the standard iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will be available to pre-order from this Friday, October 16 with customers receiving their shiny new phones the following week. It is also being said that the devices will come with 5G support and an OLED display. With Apple expected to launch many firsts for its smartphone lineup, tech fans may want to keep in mind how they can tune in on the virtual event and what time it is going to begin.

The original post was shared on Twitter by EverythingApplePro who also claims that Apple will launch a new magnetic iPhone case, which will go perfectly with the phone's built in magnets that will flawless align with Apple's wireless chargers.

The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 price is expected to start at $699 (roughly Rs 51,300) for the 64GB base model.

Apple is far from the first phone maker to launch 5G phones.

As of 2:30 pm on Monday, Apple shares were selling at about $125, up almost 7% but it's been selling at top prices for the last several weeks anticipating Tuesday's launch.

Still, many observers believe the iPhone 12 will offer superior 5G service, but that most American consumers won't be able to use it because their carriers are just rolling it out using different technologies. What the iPhone 12 probably won't include is a Touch ID button, like the new iPad Air.
