Kanye West Reportedly Files For Rights To "God Save America"

Kanye West Reportedly Files For Rights To

His celebration of the false results came a day after West released his first campaign video in which he describes "reviving America through faith" and the importance of prayer and family but makes no mention of his wife Kim or any of the Kardashians.

The ad shows Kanye West standing in front of a black-and-white American flag, looking off-camera as he quite clearly reads his speech from a teleprompter or cue cards.

West has spent some $5.8 million on his campaign this year, according to a filing with the Federal Election Commission. "What is just? True justice", West begins in his ad. Most people then who were excited visioned a completely different type of Presidential run that we are now getting in 2020.

"By turning to faith, we will be the kind of nation, the kind of people God intends us to be", West adds. Kanye starts off saying with a serious face in the ad.

"We're not only a beacon to the world, but we should be servants to each other". We have to act on faith, with the sure knowledge that we are pursuing the right goals and doing the right things. Due to his late announcement West, who had been an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump, but recently distanced himself from the Republican, failed to get his name on the ballot in several states. He appears on the California ballot as a Vice Presidential candidate.

After sharing the false results, West tweeted: "PEOLE TRIED TO TALK ME OUT OF RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT.NEVET LET WEAK CONTROLLING PEOPLE KILL YOUR SPIRIT" [sic].

The rapper asks Americans to turn to their faith to rebuild their nation.

The news will be another setback for West's campaign, which has been nothing but a rollercoaster ride since the musician announced his desire to run for president on 4 July.

The promo, which runs just under one-and-a-half minutes long, ends with the words, "Write in Kanye West", displayed across the screen.
