Kate Middleton mother of three appeared very glamorous and lovely in black chick blazer, matching trouser with puffed sleeves and glittery jewellery.

Kate, who loves to take her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to the museum, which is a short distance from their Kensington Palace home, will take part in a virtual awards ceremony for the wildlife photographer of the year.

"It is so wonderful to be back at the reopened Natural History Museum where we can all enjoy its treasures once again", she said in a video on her official Instagram account on the eve of the event.

The Natural History Museum has recently reopened after closing due to the COVID-19 crisis sweeping across the world.

"I'm here because tomorrow night, I'm announcing the 56th Wildlife Photographer of the Year". Kate pairs her evening look with minimalist pearl teardrop earrings and has her hair blown out in her signature waves.

It is the first time the awards ceremony will be virtual due to the continuing coronavirus pandemic.

The virtual ceremony will take place in the United Kingdom on Tuesday 13th October from 8pm (Wednesday morning Australian time).

Wildlife Photographer of the Year harnesses the uniquely emotional and impactful power of photography and works with the photography community to inspire millions of people around the world each year to think differently about their relationship with nature and to care for the planet. This award is one of the prestigious and longest-running annual natural wildlife photography competition.

This year's winning images, selected by a jury of global experts from over 49,000 entries from around the world, will be on display at the Natural History Museum on October 16, 2020 before touring the United Kingdom and internationally.

The Duchess is Patron of the Natural History Museum.
