Salman Khan Takes Over Faraaz Khan Medical Expenses

Salman Khan Takes Over Faraaz Khan Medical Expenses”

Actor Faraaz Khan of Fareb fame is in critical condition and Salman has stood by his side and helped him like he helps so many others.

Before Bhaijaan actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt was helping Faraaz Khan's family, she shared on social media and asked people to help the actor. Posting his picture, she wrote in the caption, "You are truly a great Human Being".

The details of the fundraiser, shared by Faraaz's family members, Farhad Abousher and Ahmed Shamoon at ImpactGuru, read: "Faraaz Khan who gave many years of his life to the art of acting and gave his best in front of the camera only to impress his audience needs your help to survive today". He was initially admitted for a cough and chest infection he'd been suffering for over a year. Recently, the coughing had aggravated so due to the prevailing pandemic, he chose to consult the doctor over a video call. So, immediately we called for an ambulance.

While the ambulance was on its way, Faraaz suddenly suffered a seizure. We hope Faraaz gets well soon. As the ambulance was reaching Vikram Hospital, Bangalore, he had a third ambulance attack in such a short time. He said that after being admitted to the hospital, he came to know that he had an infection in his brain and had had three consecutive seizures due to herpes infection and his condition had worsened. Because of this his blood pressure and heartbeat increased massively and he wasn't able to breathe.

"He was put in the ICU care where after a series of complicated procedures and heavy antibiotics he was brought to stability", the family said.

"Mere Dad Ki Dulhan" actor Fahman Khan, younger brother of Faraz Khan, shared details about his brother's health, "He was suffering from cough and chest infection for nearly a year". Multiple reports state that Faraaz was diagnosed with a brain infection and pneumonia.

Speaking to ETimes, Fahmaan said, "Bhai has been on a ventilator for the past five days and as per doctors, there are 50 % chances of his survival". While he is responding to treatment, he is still unconscious.

The actor required Rs 25 lakh for treatment, for which his family started a fundraiser. Due to the epidemic, everyone is going through a financial crisis, but we can not lose hope and therefore, we are seeking support for fundraising. This will cost us around Rs 25 lakh.
